Qualifications and Achievements

Mr Sisodia earned his medical qualification from the University of Leeds in 2005. He completed his orthopaedic training through the Yorkshire Specialist Training Rotation and was awarded the FRCS (Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014. To further refine his skills, he pursued subspecialist training in knee surgery through prestigious Knee Fellowships under renowned knee surgeons such as Prof. Nick London in Harrogate and Mr. Tim Wilton, a past president of the BOA. He also undertook an international year-long Fellowship at Toronto's Sunnybrook Hospital, known as a 'Centre of Excellence' and Canada's leading joint replacement centre.

NHS and Daily Practice

Mr Sisodia maintains a full-time NHS practice based at Wythenshawe Hospital, which is part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. In the private sector, he consults at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle; Spire Manchester hospital in Didsbury; Spire Regency in Macclesfield; and The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale.He specialises in diagnosing and treating knee and hip conditions - from sports injuries to arthritis in a variety of patients including professional athletes to older individuals with complex degenerative issues.In his daily practice, Mr Sisodia performs arthroscopic (keyhole) reconstructive surgery for ligament, cartilage, and meniscal injuries of the knee. He specialises in treating patella instability and anterior knee pain. Healso regularly conducts total knee and total hip replacements and is trained in using robotic assistance for these procedures for ultimate surgical precision. Mr Sisodia is a strongadvocate of partial knee replacement surgery when appropriate, using implants with the best long-term results in the UK.

Other Experience

Throughout his career, Mr Sisodia has been actively involved in research and clinical audit. He completed a Medical Engineering Master's degree with distinction, giving him a deep understanding of the materials and biomaterials used in orthopaedic surgery. He applies this knowledge when selecting and positioning implants. Mr Sisodia is passionate about teaching and training, and currently serves as the Orthopaedic Lead and an Honorary Senior Lecturer for Manchester University medical students undertaking their musculoskeletal training at Wytheshawe Hospital. He is a Clinical Supervisor for junior doctors and trainee surgeons and previously has held additional roles as a clinical tutor, anatomy demonstrator, and examiner for specialist registrars in the UK and Canada.  Additionally, Mr Sisodiahas presented numerous research studies in journal publications and at national and international meetings.
